Hardware

TCU NOVA AM

A telematics control unit built to be customised: the interfaces your conversion needs, a certificate-based identity, and mapping profiles maintained by the people who designed the board.

What the units do

Four capabilities, two of them optional.

Both units do the same four things. They differ only in how they are fitted.

Vehicle data over CAN

Reads the vehicle bus and hands the signals to the backend for mapping.

Mobile connectivity

Cellular link with its own certificate-based identity, so a unit reaches your tenant and no other.

Precise indoor positioning

Optional

Optional: high-precision positioning in depots, workshops and warehouses, where satellite navigation stops working.

Sensors and actuators

Optional

Optional: additional sensors read in, and actuators driven, alongside the vehicle bus.

Two ways in

Start with the plug-in unit, or wire in the fixed install.

TCU NOVA AM

fixed-install

Fixed-install unit for conversions and series production. Wired into the vehicle harness, with external antennas and a housing specified for the installation.

TCU NOVA OBD

plug-in

Plug-in unit for the OBD-II port. The fastest way to put a first vehicle on the platform, with no installation work.
